Which files can I translate?
RESX files, the resource files of .NET. A root file such as AppResources.resx holds the source texts; a language file such as AppResources.nl-NL.resx holds the translations of one language.
What happens to the translations I already have?
Import the language files together with the root file. The translations in them are kept, and a language the project does not have yet is added.
Does every translator see every language?
No. Translators see the languages of their team, and a single member can be kept out of a language. Keys that are hidden from translators are only shown to the administrators of the project.
What if two people change the same text?
The second save notices that the text was changed in the meantime. The editor then shows the other version, and you choose which one to keep.
Does Resource Translator change my source code?
No. It only reads the files you upload and gives you new files to download. You decide when they go into your solution.
Can other organizations see my projects?
No. Every account belongs to one organization, and organizations are kept apart: nobody sees the projects, teams or users of another organization.
How do I get started?
Register your organization. You receive an e-mail to set your password, and once you have signed in you can create your first project.
